Gail Mohanty, Bryant University and RISD,  will give the Christine Nowak Memorial Lecture on “Technology, Industrialization, and the Landscape”.  In this talk, she will trace the changes in the American landscape from the late 18^th century to the first half of the 20^th century using a series of landscape paintings.  This event is free and all are welcome.
