Historic Home Holiday Celebration

The Historic Valentine Whitman House will be open for tours during the Christmas Thru The Ages Holiday Event. All the rooms are decked out with the wonderful smells of pine, balsam, cinnamon and spice with the added touches of peppermint sticks and sugar cookies. Come and enjoy this 1694 stone-ender homestead that time has left for all to cherish.
The tours will be on Saturday, December 3rd, from 4-7 in candle light splendor and on Sunday, December 4th, from 1-4. Admission for this event is a canned good or non perishable food item, per person, to benefit the towns Holiday Giving Baskets.
The Whitman House is located at 1147 Great Rd., Lincoln. There will be light refreshment of cookies and hot cider served by the “Friends of the Whitman House” an all volunteer group that is dedicated to the upkeep of this historic treasure.
