| Taiwan Day – Dragon Boat Races@ School Street Pier Sep 3 @ 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Since 2000, the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council has presented Rhode Island’s Chinese Dragon Boat Races & Taiwan Day Festival. This action-packed event consists of Taiwan-style dragon boat races for professional and amateur teams, along with many cultural and artistic events, and the always popular Chinese dumpling eating contest and watermelon eating contest. Festival Pier, School Street, Pawtucket, RI Public parking at Blackstone Visitor Center, shuttles will travel to and from festival site.
