Environmental Education Saturdays Aboard the Blackstone Valley Explorer
Our 40 passenger tour boat brings you along for an intriguing, relaxing and educational 45 minute long nature cruise down the Seekonk River and Narragansett Bay. Discover the river alongside Mystic Aquarium Science Educators and have the rare opportunity to drive an underwater remotely operated vehicle to explore the river like never before. Learn about the science of the river’s plants, animals, wetlands and recovery from pollution. You may even get a chance to see the wildlife species that call the riverbanks their home.
Tours at 1 pm and 2 pm
