Trad Arts Studio is Slater Mill’s initiative in fiber, textile, and maker arts.
Trad Arts Studio is a place for public engagement and place-based presentations in fiber arts, folk craft and performance, convening of fiber art guild members, textile artists, and regional practitioners.
Classes and workshops, innovation showcases, designer salons and trunk shows, making and domestic arts hosted by Trad Arts Studio.
What better setting than the birthplace of the American textile industry, where anyone may enjoy these activities and engage in practices that hearken back to the early days of cottage industry.
